Owen Woodman BSc PhD has over 30 years experience in research into cardiovascular pharmacology and physiology with a particular interest in the pharmacology and therapeutic potential of flavonols and of the mechanisms of oxidative stress related pathologies of the cardiovascular system. He has held academic positions in the University of Melbourne, Harvard University and has been a Visiting Professor at the Universite Paris Est. He is currently Professor of Cell Biology at RMIT University and Deputy Head (Research & Innovation) in the School of Medical Sciences, RMIT University. He has authored or co-authored more than 120 scientific publications and is the inventor on a number of patent applications.
