Calling EMCRs: Expressions of Interest Open for ACvA Emerging Leaders Committee

We are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from early or mid-career researchers (EMCRs) to join the Emerging Leaders Committee (ELC).
The ELC advises the ACvA Scientific Advisory Committee on priorities to support, engage, and develop EMCRs across the cardiovascular sector. The ELC plays a unique role in ensuring ACvA and its activities foster leadership, collaboration, and innovation in its EMCR members, while providing real value and helping shape the next generation of cardiovascular researchers.
Eligibility
Applicants should be PhD graduates up to 10-years post PhD(excluding career disruptions) at the time of appointment.

Committee members gain access to senior leaders and attendance at national programs, develop skills in leadership, project management, strategic planning and have a platform to represent the EMCR voice at the national level, contributing to strategies on issues that matter to EMCRs.

- Employ strategic thinking and can leverage networks to achieve the ELC’s goals.
